Bogdana Dorcioman, Anca Bacârea, Galafteon Oltean, Minodora Dobreanu

Abstract:

The evaluation of cellular phenotype by flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry is an important branch in the research of hematolymphoid malignancies. It has been found out that antigen expression patterns of neoplastic population may have prognostic significance. This article presents immunophenotyping aspects of chronic B-cell lymphoproliferative malignancies, its role in diagnosis of these diseases and those antigens that can also influence on behavior and response to therapy.
